A workshop by the “Academy of Clever Kids”
About the session
Art demands a reaction! This is not a lecture but 60 minutes of intellectual action where art meets neuroscience and the main character is the participant.
On the programme
- “Scanner” neuro warm-up — the “Ear–Nose” and “Lazy Eights” exercises synchronise the hemispheres of the brain.
- “Theatre Workshop” voice storm — a warm-up for the speech apparatus, after which any tongue twister comes easily and the voice sounds confident.
- Hacking “The Matrix” — speed reading: we read text with scrambled letters and grasp the meaning in seconds.
- “Art Critic Analyst” cognitive quest — we decode anagrams of great art movements and look for microscopic differences in Kandinsky-style pictures.
Speed of thought, concentration and attention to detail will come in handy at school and after the festival, and excitement and team spirit are the best reboot. Perfect for a family challenge: who will be faster?
Two sessions
24 October, Saturday · 14:00–15:00 — ages 6–10 · 20 places
25 October, Sunday · 14:00–15:00 — 11+ · 20 places — the same programme for older kids and adults. The brain loves to play at any age — come with friends, family or on your own.
For parents
Parents can take part together with their child — a parent needs a separate registration.
Free, registration required
Participation is free; every activity requires registration — it will open in the coming days, and the link will appear on this page. The art quest runs at the same time as the workshops — choose activities that do not overlap.

“Academy of Clever Kids”
A centre that trains the intellect of children and adults through play: speed reading, the Rubik’s cube, puzzles and memory training, calligraphy, sessions with a speech therapist and a psychologist. Its head is Yana Barabanova, an educational psychologist and speech therapist with 27 years of experience and a mother of many children.
