AELITA PRODUCTION — a theatre production company. We find bright talents and bold ideas, and produce, distribute and tour performances across Russia.
We work at the intersection of contemporary theatre, choreography and visual art. We create projects after which it is impossible to see the world the same way.
History
Company founded
Ekaterina Abdulova and Konstantin Moshnikov founded AELITA PRODUCTION. First projects — working with dance companies and directors creating contemporary theatre outside the mainstream.
First productions
Production “Stories. Of the Earthly and the Heavenly”, “Listen!” and “A Guide for Novice Wanderers”. First tour. Innovative Cultural Centre, Kaluga.
Flagship and expansion
Flagship production release “IOV: Material” — Ekaterina Abdulova's directorial debut. Tour to Saint Petersburg, performances at the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theatre.
Festival direction
Festival launch “Tochka Cuire” (October, Stary Oskol). Expansion to new venues — Tarusa, Stary Oskol.
How we work

We find talent
We work with directors, choreographers and artists who create art with their own perspective. We don't replicate — we open new voices.

We produce
From idea to performance — we handle organisation, financing, marketing and logistics. The artist focuses on art, we handle everything else.

We tour the regions
Touring is our priority. Contemporary theatre should be accessible beyond the capitals. We build routes across Russia.
