About the film
She wakes up in a grey city, but every night she dreams of the sea. One day she stops waiting and takes a step towards it.
The film began as a story about the remote region of Marsa Alam but grew into a psychological story of how nature brings a person back to themselves. Dolphins, turtles, dugongs, the desert and a Bedouin campfire are not just a backdrop but a space where you can restart yourself.
What if your dream is not an illusion but a place where you are already expected?
The screening is followed by a discussion with the film’s director, Anastasia Silantyeva (Dyakova).
